For Learning at Work day, we organised for Anne to come in & run a session on 'Rediscover your creativity' & Alan to lead a session on 'Interpersonal Skills'. Immediate feedback for you is that both Anne & Alan made the day a 'roaring' success. Our staff who had attended the workshops all emerged smiling, motivated & eager to tell me how wonderful they thought the
sessions were.
Personally, I was hugely impressed with both Anne & Alan's professional expertise & enthusiasm, but more than that, their passion for working with the not for profit sector. I will be keeping in touch with both of them, in order to work with them in the future.
And a BIG thank you, to you Jane, for having the fantastic idea to start this project & the motivation to keep it going.

I was absolutely overwhelmed by the response, generosity and professionalism of all the people who responded to our request. It’s amazing because there would be absolutely no way we could have done this training without your help, it definitely would have taken years for us to afford it. The trainers listed above are the ones that we are having training delivered by, but there were many others that contacted us to offer their services.
All of the trainers are basically making tailored, bespoke courses for ADSiS and are sharing ideas, new developments, future support systems and contacts with us. I cannot thank all of the people involved with Charity Days enough for their support.

Just to say thank you so much for helping us to find Liz, who kindly facilitated a session on Time Management, which was very well received by the managers who attended. All have given feedback to say they found the day extremely useful in helping them to think about how they are currently spending their time and where they could be more effective. Charity Days is a wonderful service – I do hope we can benefit again from it, and I would certainly recommend it to other Charities.

Having just run our Training for Trainers weekend, I thought I would drop you a line to tell you about the excellent session that Ann and Sally ran for us - it really was outstanding.They delivered a session on the implications of the Myers Briggs types for training design and delivery and it was everything I could have hoped for - and more! They gave a really clear insight into the various personality types and by using themselves as examples really bought the session to life. They use humour and anecdotes brilliantly and the session was a tremendous success with all our delegates. Thank you so much for sourcing this excellent training for us - I can't recommend them highly enough.

I thought I would just update you on the outcome of this training request. Having made the request to you for someone to run an assertiveness workshop, I got a speedy reply from you and it wasn’t long before I received a number of trainers volunteering to run something for us. All looked pretty good, but I decided to go with Alan, as he was based very near to us. Alan was quite flexible as to dates and pretty soon we had a workshop organised.
The workshop ran on 28 November, with 13 people attending. The day was a real success; I have had a lot of comments from attendees saying how much they enjoyed it and how their confidence has improved, but more importantly, saying how really useful they found it. The key thing seems to be that they have all found one or two (or more!) practical things that they can start doing immediately to change the way they communicate and therefore the way that others communicate with them. In fact, I know that some of them have already made changes and are starting to feel the benefits.

The day certainly delivered what I would have hoped for, if not more. I am very pleased with the outcome so my thanks again to you, to Alan and to all the others that offered their support.

Just to let you know that Sam came to us on Monday and presented keyworking and motivational interviewing to the staff team, an enjoyable and informative session for all. The comments received afterwards included 'all staff should receive this training' and 'another more in depth training session should be booked to follow up on some of the processes and issues'. Many thanks to Sam for giving/sharing her time and experience with us, the day covered all of the topics we wanted and helped the team to identify improvements to our current system.

We have run three training courses now with trainers through 'Charity Days' and we have been really pleased with them all.
Ann ran an Assertiveness course for us last year, for which we had good feedback. Ann has agreed to run another course for us this year in April.

Paul ran 'A change for the better' in January which was also well received by the delegates and which I observed. Paul had a really difficult brief for this course as we had inherited the course and will be looking at whether if fits into our current portfolio of courses or not as we go forward. Paul worked hard to fulfil the aims and objectives that we gave him for the course and the delegates found it useful.

David has recently ran a 'Dynamic Meetings' course for us in February. David's skills were perfect for this course, he made it lively and particularly relevant to the group. They were really buzzing at the end of it. He came across as incredibly knowledgeable in his field and he was an incredibly dynamic presenter and respected by the group (and myself for that matter!).

We also have another trainer called Ann coming in to deliver 'Creative Thinking and Problem Solving' in July!

We will no doubt use these trainers again if they are willing to come back to us!

In terms of feedback one thing I have noticed you have added to your website is a list of the trainers and their specialist areas, I have found this particularly helpful. I am really pleased by the initial responses we have received and the follow up from trainers we have contacted.

Just to let you know that we have had the supervision / team leading training delivered to us by Gail and Helen. I have received very positive feedback from the delegates, one comment being 'it brought us out of ourselves and was also a good team building exercise'.

Just some feedback on the training course we had delivered by Patrick that we organised via charity days earlier in the year.
Patrick delivered three sessions of Finance for non financial managers for us beginning in London way back last summer and ending in sessions in Birmingham and Manchester just before Christmas. The training was excellent and the rapport that Patrick built with the participants was wonderful to see.
Providing training for FIS is not the easiest of challenges, for one thing our member groups are a diverse mix of social clubs, housing associations, welfare services etc. They range in size from large well funded groups to small organisations with one worker (sometimes no paid staff) The only thing they do have in common is that they serve the Irish community in Britain. Patrick coped wonderfully with this mix and the case study he wrote for them to work on was excellent.
The feedback that I have received from those who attended has been full of praise and I am pleased to say that the groups are now asking when the next training sessions will be and suggesting topics. Obviously I will have my work cut out to satisfy their demands this year and will no doubt be turning to Charity Days for further help.
Thank you so much for setting up such a wonderful scheme, without it we would find it difficult to provide the training needed by our members.

Just a quick line to say that we are now able to start putting into place a process whereby we can better involve our teams in identifying and solving workplace issues with a the help of a structured process very kindly facilitated by Gillian and her colleague Linda. Their time and involvement has been very much appreciated and the pilot at Southampton was very well received - all we have to do now is implement the outcomes!
On a personal note, please keep up your fantastic work - I'm quite aware of the time and effort required for a project of this kind but the benefits that we gain from them are tremendous. When I find myself in a position to do so, I will also be throwing my hat into your "ring", since I'm a great believer in recipricocity. To be successful, charities have to develop their staff and volunteers, and this can be an expensive cost - this group ensures that training can be cost effective and supporter's money can still being used toward the furtherance of their charitable aims.

Just to let you know that Jane came and delivered project management
training for us last week and Lynn delivered team building training
yesterday.  Both were a great success and I've had very positive feedback
from the delegates who attended.
We really appreciate being able to have the opportunity to access such
